Have you heard before about the name Bombelli? Our name is a tribute to Rafael Bombelli, the 16-century mathematician who dared to introduce imaginary numbers to solve a cubic equation that was thought, at the time, impossible. Those ‘imaginaries’ led to the complex numbers that now power the real world—from alternating-current electricity and energy grids, to vehicle control systems, digital communications, and even orbital mechanics in the space industry.
In that same spirit, Bombellii Ventures backs founders who turn what looks like impossible climate problems into scalable software realities. Our ambition is to build the next generation of software&Ai giants in the US & in Europe that solve climate challenges at scale.

Our Journey

Two Executives who started as Colleagues and found common grounds based on their cultural backgrounds, building lives in United States, leading and managing global multinational teams for last 25 years and passion for leaving the planet in a better state for future generations.

Samir, as GP is a seasoned business executive bringing experience from Fortune 100 global companies. He led strategy, sustainability and Business for Schneider Electric, Technip Energies, Alstom, Areva. He built two corporate-venture ecosystems touching 2 600+ start-ups, with checks ranging from $300 K seed tickets to a $400 M growth round.

Samir has managed 9 strategic sales so far, including Schneider’s roll-ups of Autogrid, Evconnect, Raiven and others, plus Seed Energy’s exit to Technip. Typical outcome: 2-2.5× MOIC in less than three years.

Abha, as Advisor to the fund brings 25 years of experience in deep tech where she led and delivered SaaS and PaaS Solutions at companies like ADP, Akamai, Iron Mountain, Schneider Electric and CAE. I was recognized as “Top 65 influential women in AI', and I have two decades of global leadership experience in several sectors such as Logistic, Enterprise Software, IoT , Airspace & Defense. As a senior CTO and CPO I have enabled 7 acquisitions and 3 divestures ranging from $500 M to $900 M.
